Position Summary

The Finance & Accounts Executive to Deputy Manager is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of all financial records and reports. This role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring adherence to Tax & VAT laws, supporting external audits, and managing various registers. The position also requires timely regulatory reporting, reconciliation of bank statements, and assisting in the preparation of annual financial reports. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of the organization\’s financial operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to Tax & VAT laws and fulfill all related regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounting entries in the EFS software by posting and validating data entries.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Verify vouchers, memos, and bills for compliance and secure necessary approvals.
  • Assist in maintaining essential registers such as Receivable, Fixed Asset, Dividend, and Tax & VAT registers.
  • Support external auditors during the audit process.
  • Perform quarterly and year-end reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.
  • Conduct monthly Bank Reconciliation and update records regularly.
  • Draft office memos for payments related to the Finance & Accounts Department.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Annual Report.
  • Review auditors` reports and audited financial statements annually.
