Job Overview
The Visual Communications Designer is a dynamic and creative member of CV’s global communications team and reports directly to the Internal Communications Manager. Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, you will create high-quality and engaging visual content to support CV’s internal communications. This role is vital to the successful outworking of our communications strategies and plays a key role in working toward the achievement of CV’s unique objectives. We expect you to embrace CV's values, which include having a pioneering spirit, a heart for serving the Church, and a focus on initiatives that create significant spiritual impact, with a strong commitment to unity and being led by the Holy Spirit.
Specific Responsibilities
- Delivers vibrant, relevant, and engaging visuals for a variety of audiences and channels as a part of CV’s internal communications strategy and in support of CV’s Executive Team.
- Communicates and shares ideas that will increase staff engagement and work to inspire team members to contribute to CV’s mission.
- Delivers high-quality ad-hoc digital and print design projects in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across CV’s four functions.
- Assists in the moderation and localisation of content when needed.
- Helps to update and maintain internal communication materials with visual content and collaborates with external resources when needed.
- Adheres to and maintains an up-to-date understanding of copyright and intellectual property laws and ensures that all content meets CV standards and is in line with our brand guidelines.
- Exercises great interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in consultation with the Internal Communications Manager, production personnel and wider communications team.
- Supports cross-departmental needs.
- Maintains and organises extensive library of graphic content for archival purposes, ensuring ease of locating assets for future projects and needs.
- Has the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously whilst under strict deadlines.
- Supports strategic change communications by creating high-quality visuals that are informative and engaging.
- Demonstrates the ability to give and receive feedback on a frequent basis.
- As part of a global organisation, you will be required to collaborate across time zones, which may involve out-of-hours availability.

Skills, Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field preferable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, preferably within communications, media, or brand-driven environments is required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative ability across print and digital platforms, including branding, layout design, and multimedia content.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Figma, and familiarity with presentation and template design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva).
- Strong understanding of brand identity and ability to translate strategic communications objectives into compelling visual solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and deliver to deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, functions, and cultures.
- Passion for CV’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and encourage them to become his true followers, with sensitivity to faith-based communications.
- Attend (frequency TBD) one-on-one meetings with the External Communications Manager and be available for other ad-hoc meetings when needed.
