We are seeking a skilled, creative, and strategic Contracts and Compliance Officer who shares our passion for evangelism and wants to join our dynamic team. This role handles formal agreements with partners and ensures legal and operational compliance. This role develops and administers partner MOUs and pioneer agreements, coordinates compliance requirements across diverse jurisdictions, and supports risk protocols to ensure all ministries operate legally, ethically, and safely.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and administer templates for all contracts, partner MOUs, and pioneer agreements, coordinating local adaptations as needed to ensure global consistency and local relevance.
- Maintain a practical compliance framework, including checklists and guides, to ensure all field operations adhere to internal policies and diverse legal requirements across jurisdictions.
- Proactively monitor changes in local legal and regulatory landscapes to identify potential impacts on pioneering activities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all partnership agreements accurately reflect the relational spirit and strategic goals of the collaboration.
- Provide guidance to build compliance literacy and awareness across the Operations, Impact, and Care teams.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain an operational risk register for the initiative, developing mitigation strategies and advising on security and data protection practices to protect the organisation and its pioneers in diverse operational contexts.
- Conduct periodic reviews and support audits to ensure ongoing adherence, tracking any necessary remediation actions to completion.
- Establish and maintain a central repository for all legal documents, contracts, and compliance records.
- Collaborate within a global organisation across time zones, including occasional out-of-hours availability where required.

- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work cross-culturally is essential.
- Ability to communicate complex legal and compliance issues clearly and concisely to individuals without a legal background is required.
- High levels of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately is a prerequisite.
- Experience in the field of 3-5 years with a degree or equivalent experience is required.
