We are looking for motivated Facilities & Utility Engineer to join a globally recognised manufacturer in Ely. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
Full responsibility in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of facilities and utilities critical to the production process. Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of systems such as Compressed Air, Chilled Process water, Building Fabric and other services to guarantee a safe and uninterrupted manufacturing environment. Produce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all facility and utility assets for the site engineering team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with HV/LV systems, chilled water systems, air compressors, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations, including EICR, pressure systems, working at height, and CDM.
