This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced robotic and automated systems, providing technical expertise in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customers across the UK, ensuring robotic and automation equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

  • Installation and commissioning of robotic and automation systems.
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system faults.
  • Supporting customers both on-site and remotely.
  • Carrying out system upgrades, modifications, and improvements.
  • Producing accurate service reports and documentation.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
  • Working closely with internal engineering and technical support teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Robotics Engineer, or Automation Engineer.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with industrial automation, robotics, conveyors, packaging machinery, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Industrial robots such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or Universal Robots.
  • PLC systems and industrial controls.
  • Vision systems and automated production equipment.
  • Commissioning and integration of automation solutions.
