We are looking for a motivated Stock Controller to join a market leading manufacturing company. You will be involved in all aspects of Stock Control and inventory. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal departments regarding quoted items and procurement needs
- Place purchase orders and ensure on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery from suppliers
- Conduct goods-in inspections to verify accuracy and quality of deliveries
- Perform regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy
- Generate and investigate stock loss reports, implementing corrective actions
- Manage returns or replacements for faulty items
- Maintain inventory records using Wasp Inventory Stock Control Software
- Keep procurement and supplier documentation up-to-date and well organised
- Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure timely material availability
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in a stock control, procurement, or stores role
- Familiarity with Wasp Inventory Software (or similar) is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Team player able to work collaboratively across departments
