The Opportunity

CV Technical is working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business based in Coalville to recruit an experienced Stock Control Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role sitting at the heart of the purchasing and stock management function, overseeing a small team and always ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the stock system. The business is currently undergoing a system restructure, making this an exciting time to join and contribute to a period of positive change. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation of new processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 2 purchasing assistants, overseeing day-to-day performance and output
  • Always maintain accuracy and integrity of the stock system
  • Place, progress and acknowledge purchase orders
  • Carry out stock reconciliation and purchase invoice reconciliation
  • Manage material call off from dock
  • Intrastat reporting and progressing of reject material
  • Calculate and communicate monthly collection costs

What We're Looking For

  • Proven stock processing experience - essential
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems and purchase order processing
