We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join a growing engineering business, supporting customers with the installation, servicing and maintenance of specialist machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to move away from a traditional factory maintenance role and get involved with a varied position including fault finding, breakdown support, installations and international travel.

The role will involve:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on specialist machinery
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Supporting customers with breakdowns and technical issues
  • Working independently on customer sites and overseas projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with inverters and programming would be advantageous
  • A willingness to travel internationally for installations and servicing

The package includes:

  • Salary up to £60,000 including overtime depending on experience
  • Company van provided after training period
  • Worldwide travel opportunities
  • £50 per night allowance for servicing work
  • £100 per night allowance for installation work
  • £40 per day food allowance when working away
  • Overtime opportunities and weekend breakdown rota once fully trained
