A well-established and growing heavy manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Production Foreman to lead production operations at its Barnsley facility. As Production Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and motivate production teams, coordinate workflow, support continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with maintenance and other departments to maximise plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise day-to-day production operations
- Ensure production schedules are achieved safely and efficiently
- Manage, coach and develop production operators and team leaders
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and shift handovers
- Monitor production performance and drive KPI improvements
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimise downtime
