This is a hands-on role at the heart of a busy production environment, where planned and reactive maintenance is critical to keeping operations running. If you're a skilled engineer looking for stability, a strong salary, and the chance to work with complex industrial machinery - this is worth a conversation.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical plant and equipment

- Working on heavy industrial machinery including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Supporting and working alongside electrical maintenance colleagues on cross-discipline tasks
- Completing accurate maintenance records and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental standards on site
What we're looking for:
- Recognised engineering qualification - City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC, or time-served apprenticeship
- Solid experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or processing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge across hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment
- Comfortable fault-finding independently and under pressure
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with good attention to detail
