We are recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business looking to appoint a PLC Controls Engineer to support UK and international projects across multiple regions. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys travel, variety, and working on technically challenging projects worldwide.
The Role
- UK and international travel (minimum 3 months per year, up to 6 months)
- PLC programming, primarily using Siemens systems
- Project management and client-facing project delivery
- Testing and commissioning of systems
- Software and language programming such as Python, C++, or similar
- Working on projects across America, India, the Middle East, and parts of Africa
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Background in controls, automation, or PLC engineering
- Experience with Siemens PLCs preferred
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
- Open to engineers from various industry backgrounds (heavy industry ideal but not essential)
- Training available for engineers who need development in certain areas
- Suitable for both experienced engineers and junior engineers looking to progress
