We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in the service, installation, and maintenance of pump systems across sectors including commercial, water treatment, utilities, and manufacturing.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their South West service team. This is a varied, hands-on field-based role where you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial pump systems at customer sites across the region.

Working independently and alongside a wider engineering support team, you will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and delivering excellent customer service.

Service, maintain, and repair:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on-site
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding ability and previous experience working within a field service environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on industrial or commercial pump systems
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
  • Background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering
  • Full UK driving licence
  • IPAF Certification
  • Confined Space Training
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
