Location: UK Wide / Regional Patch

Salary: £35-40,000 + Door to Door Overtime + Company Vehicle + Phone (OTE £50-55,000)

Shift: Monday - Friday Days

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support of CNC woodcutting and woodworking machinery at customer sites across the UK. You will work closely with customers to ensure machinery is operating efficiently while delivering excellent technical support and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of CNC woodworking machinery
  • Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support
  • Diagnosing PLC and automation faults
  • Providing operator training and technical guidance to customers
  • Completing service reports and documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement and machine optimisation

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on CNC machinery, ideally woodworking or cutting equipment
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  • Experience with PLC fault finding advantageous
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
