Paint Sprayer / Polisher Prepper
Bedworth, Warwickshire
£17 - £20 an hour
Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:30
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Polisher Prepper to join the Paint Shop of a well-established automotive manufacturer in Coventry.
You will be responsible for preparing, spraying and polishing components to a high-quality finish, working to paint data sheets, quality standards and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, prime and spray automotive components to specification.
- Mix paints accurately using technical data sheets.
- Carry out polishing and rectify defects to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Use a range of hand and power tools, spray guns and polishing equipment.
- Inspect finished components and report any quality or equipment issues.
- Maintain and clean spray guns, booths and polishing equipment.
- Follow COSHH, PPE, Health & Safety and paint shop procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organised and production ready.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive paint spraying experience is essential.
- Experience in vehicle/component polishing and paint correction.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Able to read paint data sheets and accurately mix paint.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Comfortable working to production deadlines.
- Good understanding of COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety.
- Reliable, hands on and a strong team player.
