Maintenance Engineer – Double Day Shift (Manufacturing)Location: Romsey

Salary: £47,000 + benefits

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a double day shift pattern. You will be responsible for maintaining production machinery and site services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs

Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults to minimise downtime

Support engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Work to site Health & Safety standards and promote safe working practices

Record maintenance activities and update CMMS systems where required

Provide technical support to operations and help optimise machine performance

About YouTime-served or qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, automotive, or similar production environment

Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working a double day shift pattern

Knowledge of PPM systems; PLC fault-finding experience advantageous
