Applications are invited from experienced Field Service Engineers to support the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of a broad range of security equipment.

Candidate Profile

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings (full product-specific training provided).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience.
  • Fault-finding, repair, installation, and commissioning experience.
  • Experience carrying out site surveys.
  • Good customer-facing and customer service skills.

Essential Requirements

  • Be physically fit due to the practical demands of the role.
  • Be capable of passing security clearance procedures.
  • Have a flexible, positive, and proactive attitude.
  • Be willing to participate in out-of-hours call-out support.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • 3-phase electrical experience and/or 18th Edition qualification.
  • Health & Safety certifications or training.
  • Welding qualifications or practical welding experience.
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid systems experience.
  • Previous experience working with automated gates, barriers, blockers, or similar equipment.

Additional Information

  • Occasional overseas travel may be available but is not mandatory.
  • This is primarily a home-based field role, although occasional overnight stays may be required.
  • Weekend and occasional night work will form part of the position.
