Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our UK & Ireland operation. This is an office-based role focused on managing engineering projects from order through to handover, supporting customers, OEMs, and internal teams. The role will play a key part in supporting current operations and future plans to establish manufacturing in the UK within the next five years.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from order receipt through to final handover
- Liaise with customers to understand requirements and provide technical support
- Produce and manage technical documentation, including:
- Engineering drawings
- Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
- Pre-Production Inspections (PPIs)
- Handover documentation
International Exposure
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Background working with OEMs or site-based engineering teams
- Experience in Food, FMCG, or Pharmaceutical environments
- Packaging machinery or systems background
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience with CAD and PLC systems
- Leadership experience or potential
- Knowledge of working with third-party suppliers
