Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced joinery and woodworking environment? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturer who specialises in high-quality bespoke joinery products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and motivate their shop floor team while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.

The Role

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the efficient flow of work throughout the workshop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting production operatives across the joinery workshop
  • Ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are met
  • Monitoring quality standards and implementing continuous improvements
  • Managing labour resources and workflow planning
  • Driving health & safety compliance across the department
  • Conducting team briefings, training, and performance management
  • Working closely with management, planning, and installation teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or Workshop Manager position
  • Experience within joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Good understanding of health & safety regulations
