Production Maintenance Engineer (2-Shift Rotation)

Location: Kent Salary: Β£33-41k + Benefits

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shifts: Monday to Friday - 7:00am-3:00pm / 3:00pm-11:00pm (rotating weekly)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Production Maintenance Engineer to join a leading injection moulding manufacturer. This role focuses on maintaining and improving production machinery within a fast-paced and technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance of injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

Develop and manage a Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Organise engineering materials, spare parts, and liaise with suppliers

Support general site maintenance and oversee on-site contractors

Collaborate with internal teams to improve machinery reliability and performance

Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards

Essential Requirements:

Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC

Multi-skilled across mechanical and electrical disciplines

Minimum 3 years\' experience in a similar maintenance role

Knowledge of pneumatic systems and industrial automation

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently

Desirable:

Experience with 6-axis robot programming (ABB, Staubli, or KUKA)

PLC programming experience (Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley)
