Planning Engineer – Food Manufacturing 📍 Location: Poole area, Dorset (BH15) 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm 💷 Salary: £42,000 per annum Join a well-established food production business as a Planning Engineer, where you\’ll play a key role in driving production efficiency and ensuring smooth operations across planning and scheduling processes. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 🎓 Qualifications Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSc, HND, HNC) or a related engineering discipline. Alternatively, completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification with time-served experience. 💼 Experience Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems). Practical understanding of RCM (Reliability-Centred Maintenance) and different maintenance strategies. Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and Root Cause Analysis. 🧠 Skills Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
