An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a growing manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire. This is a key leadership role offering long-term progression within a stable and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role: You will be accountable for the safe, on-time delivery of customer orders within budgeted hours and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing production teams and cells to ensure output targets are achieved
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, quality and company procedures
- Supporting and mentoring Team Leaders, including PDRs and people management matters
- Driving continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing techniques
- Controlling overhead costs and ensuring accurate reporting
- Supporting contract reviews and liaising with internal departments and customers
- Ensuring data protection and security compliance within manufacturing areas
- Supporting NPI, trials, prototyping and process validation activities
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Production / Manufacturing Management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Background in advanced manufacturing or engineering environments
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Package:
- Salary: Β£48,000 - Β£52,000
