We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business that specialises in the installation, service, and support of thermoforming and injection moulding machinery. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to their UK team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working with advanced manufacturing equipment across a diverse customer base.
The Role:- Service, fault-find, and repair thermoforming and injection moulding machines at customer sites
- Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown response, and commissioning work
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Install new machinery and provide customer training where required
- Complete service reports and maintain strong customer relationships
- Travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within thermoforming and/or injection moulding
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with PLCs (fault finding)
- Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment
- Full UK driving licence
- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary
- Bonuses and paid overtime
