We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability through effective planned and reactive maintenance. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production machinery
- Supporting PPM schedules and responding to breakdowns efficiently
- Assisting with machinery installations and improvement projects
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
- Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship) preferred
