About the Role
A well-established and growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
Working on a continental 6-to-6 shift pattern, you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
This role would suit either a fully Multi-Skilled Engineer or an electrically biased engineer with approximately a 60/40 electrical to mechanical skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
Support continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance and reliability.
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company's maintenance system.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment availability.
The Ideal Candidate
Apprentice trained or qualified in an Engineering discipline.
Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Multi-Skilled Engineer or electrically biased with around a 60/40 electrical/mechanical background.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience with PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
