We are working in partnership with a well-established engineering business to recruit a Service Engineer to support their growing service and warranty division. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced team within a specialist machinery environment.
The Role
This position will involve a mix of workshop-based refurbishment and field-based commissioning, servicing and training across customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland. Travel is typically 2-3 days per week, with occasional overnight stays required.
You will be responsible for supporting customers with the installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis of injection moulding machinery and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning new and refurbished injection moulding machines on customer sites
- Servicing and maintaining machinery in the field
- Fault finding and repairs
- Training customers on machine operation (full training provided)
- Supporting with robot commissioning
- Refurbishment of used machines in the workshop
- Providing technical support to customers when required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working with injection moulding machinery
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical / electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience with ancillary equipment (desirable)
- Flexible attitude to travel and working away
- Professional, customer-focused approach
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 (depending on experience)
