We are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Production Shift Supervisor to support and lead their production teams on a rotating shift pattern. This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys leading people, driving performance, and maintaining high standards on the shop floor.
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Monday 06:00 - 14:30, Tuesday to Friday 06:20 - 14:30
- Week 2: Monday to Friday 14:20 - 22:30
The Role
- Supervise and support production operatives to ensure daily targets are met
- Ensure health & safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Monitor performance, productivity, and downtime, taking corrective action where required
- Support training, inductions, and ongoing development of team members
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth shift handovers
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Able to work a rotating shift pattern
- Proactive, organised, and confident making decisions on shift
