Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and motivated engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Working as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Multi-skilled engineering background with both electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, or automated production environment.
- Electrical qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
