Maintenance Engineer – Electrical or Multi-Skilled
Location: DN36Salary: £45,000 per annumShift Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday
- 12-hour days one week / 12-hour nights the next
- Currently averaging 48 hours per week (includes approx. 6 hours overtime)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Maintenance Engineers to join a highly automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
This site has recently received significant multi-million-pound investment, resulting in a brand-new, modern, and exceptionally clean working environment – widely regarded as one of the cleanest operations in its industry.
The Role
- Electrical or 50/50 multi-skilled maintenance across production and site equipment
- Planned and reactive maintenance on modern, automated machinery
- Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working within strict food-grade and quality standards
Future Shift Structure
- The site is currently operating on the above shift pattern
- There is a clear plan to transition eventually to continental shifts.
The Ideal Candidate
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
- Manufacturing / industrial background
- Apprentice Trained
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Comfortable working days and nights
- Proactive mindset with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
