Mechanical Maintenance Engineer ?? Corby, Northamptonshire ?? £45,000 per annum ? Panama Shift Pattern – 6am to 6pm

A well-established manufacturing site in Corby is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding and breakdown response on mechanical systems
• Basic electrical fault finding (sensors, motors, relays, panels)
• Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
• Working closely with production and engineering teams

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical background (gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics)
• Comfortable with basic electrical diagnostics
• Manufacturing or FMCG background preferred
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship)
