Salary: £45,000

Hours: Double Days Shift (05:30-14:00 / 13:30-22:00)

Holidays: 20 Days + 8 Bank Holidays

About the Role

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias (minimum 60/40 electrical/mechanical) to join our team. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Industrial Electrician who is keen to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for both PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment downtime is minimised and production targets are met. Occasional shift cover will be required to support the team during holidays or sickness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Work across hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, pumps
  • Fault-find on single and 3-phase systems, sensors, relays, and drives
  • Maintain and repair bottle filling lines, steamers, and packaging machinery
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Provide electrical expertise across the site

Experience & Qualifications

  • Electrical qualifications - essential
  • Time-served engineer
  • Strong background in an industrial or food manufacturing environment
  • Competent across both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines

Training & Progression

In-house training provided where required. Clear progression pathway to Lead/Chief Engineer. Reporting directly to Rick (Engineering Manager).
