Are you an experienced Production & Purchasing Planner looking for a fast-paced role within manufacturing? We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Planner to join a growing business, overseeing production operations and ensuring smooth coordination across supply chain, transport, and manufacturing functions. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who can hit the ground running and take ownership of production scheduling and operational planning while supporting health & safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

  • Coordinating supply chain and transport planning activities
  • Creating and managing production schedules
  • Overseeing day-to-day production operations
  • Supporting and maintaining health & safety standards across site
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager and managing production flow across a team of 25 shop floor staff
  • Driving efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Experience within doors or timber manufacturing would be highly advantageous
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification advantageous
  • Six Sigma knowledge or experience beneficial

The Package

  • Days role - 8:00am to 5:00pm, 8:00am to 2:30pm Friday
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
