We're recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Manager / Lead Engineer to join a well-established food production business. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while staying actively involved on the tools.
The Role
- Lead and support a small team of 2 engineers
- 70/30 split - electrically biased, hands-on role
- Maintain and troubleshoot: Sensors, relays, and drives
- Single & three-phase motors
- Food production machinery
- Drive reliability and continuous improvement across the site
Requirements
- Electrical qualifications (essential)
- Food/FMCG manufacturing background (essential)
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on
Training & Progression
- Some training provided
- Limited progression structure currently, but opportunity to shape the role
