Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)

CV Technical are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Support continuous improvement activities to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Work closely with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimise disruption
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning projects
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Manage and monitor critical spare parts stock levels
  • Support root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, 18th Edition or equivalent
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with good mechanical knowledge
  • Experience working with PLC fault finding and diagnostics
  • Previous experience using CMMS systems
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability
