We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering and CNC machining business based in Leeds. Our client specialises in subcontract machining, prototype development and the manufacture of precision components for a variety of industrial and manufacturing applications. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC professional who can come in and hit the ground running.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller who is confident programming using Siemens controls and has experience working with XYZ machines.
The Role:
- CNC milling and programming
- Programming using Siemens controls/software
- Operating and programming XYZ machines
- Manufacturing precision components for machinery and equipment
- Producing components for a variety of subcontract engineering projects
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensuring components are produced accurately and to the required standards
- Working independently and effectively within an established engineering team
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong CNC milling experience
- CNC programming experience
- Siemens programming experience is essential
- Experience working with XYZ machines
- A time-served engineering background
- Experience within precision, subcontract or general engineering
- The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- A strong understanding of precision component manufacturing
Salary & Benefits:
£17.00 - £17.50 per hour
