We are currently recruiting for an H&S Advisor to join a growing manufacturing business based in Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to develop their career within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
Working closely with the HSE Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across multiple sites, helping to maintain high standards of compliance and promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities

Support the HSE Coordinator with the implementation and maintenance of Health & Safety standards across multiple sites.

Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety checks.

Assist with risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments.

Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.

Help identify areas for improvement and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

Provide Health & Safety guidance and support to employees and management.

Assist with maintaining H&S documentation, records and compliance systems.

Support the delivery of toolbox talks, inductions and safety training.

Monitor compliance with company policies and relevant Health & Safety legislation.

Travel between sites as required to provide hands-on H&S support.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or similar operational environment and have a genuine interest in developing their Health & Safety career.
You will be:

Practical and hands-on in your approach.

Confident communicating with people at all levels.

Comfortable working across multiple sites.

Organised with strong attention to detail.

Proactive in identifying and resolving Health & Safety issues.

Keen to develop and take on additional responsibility.
A relevant Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent would be advantageous.
