Production Supervisor Partington, Greater Manchester £38,000 - £40,000 Days, Monday to Friday The business specialises in precision metal fabrication, offering services including laser cutting, press brake operations, welding and fabrication. They are now looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to take a hands-on role overseeing day-to-day workshop operations. This is not a desk-based position. You'll be out on the shop floor, leading from the front, supporting the team, resolving production issues and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities. Lead, motivate and support the workshop team. Monitor production targets, deadlines and workflow. Ensure quality and workmanship standards are maintained. Resolve production issues and remove obstacles to keep work moving. Promote and maintain health and safety standards. Drive productivity and continuous improvement. Work closely with management to ensure operational targets are achieved.What We're Looking For Previous Production Supervisor or Team Leader experience within manufacturing or engineering. Background in fabrication, welding, sheet metal or general engineering. Strong leadership and people management skills. A hands-on approach with a visible presence on the shop floor. Good understanding of production processes and workflow. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.Experience with laser cutting and press brake operations would be advantageous.
