Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + £55K OTE
Overtime or Shift Allowance
Laptop provided, no van (international service)
Pension 4-5%, Life Assurance x3, Private Health care
Hours: 7:30 - 16:15 Monday to Friday (Friday finish 12:15)
Holidays: 25+ days
Travel time paid at standard rate
Overtime after 37.5 hours paid at 1.5x
£25 weekday night allowance, £50 weekend night allowance
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Build and commission machinery at our factory.
- Conduct factory acceptance tests with customers at our factory.
- Install machinery, perform site acceptance, and train operators at worldwide customer sites.
- Provide technical support to customers via email, phone, and online connection to machines.
- Fault finding, repair, and routine maintenance of machinery worldwide.
- Remotely connect and troubleshoot machinery via PC.
- Adhere to health and safety legislations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, quickly, and in a friendly manner.
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC programming, and motion control with drives.
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Ideally apprenticeship-trained.
- Good understanding and ability to read assembly drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Manufacturing experience in food, packaging, or automotive environments.
- Experience working in international environments: Canada, China, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Czech Republic, Nigeria.
Training & Progression
- Custom machinery training provided.
- 4x Service / 1x Commissioning structure.
- 36 on-site assignments per year (approx.).
- Clear progression and departmental structure in a supportive team.
