Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm / Friday 8:00am-1:00pm (39 hours)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer that designs and produces complex components for highly regulated industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and forward-thinking business working on technically challenging projects.

The Role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving production processes, supporting new product introductions and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes
  • Create and maintain work instructions, build manuals and process documentation
  • Provide hands-on technical support on the shop floor
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and support first-off builds
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure manufacturability
  • Support quality inspections, audits and root cause analysis
  • Assist with tooling design and process development (moulds, jigs, fixtures)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
  • Background in process improvement and NPI
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
