CV Technical are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business with a strong international presence. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious company at an exciting stage of growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating operations across the UK and North America, ensuring the smooth movement of goods, efficient supply chain performance, and continued operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary operational link between UK and North American operations
- Coordinate activities across production, logistics, warehousing, procurement and supply chain functions
- Support business growth through effective operational planning and execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and key stakeholders
- Negotiate supplier agreements, freight contracts and commercial arrangements
- Manage inventory levels and support forecasting and production planning activities
- Coordinate international shipments and ensure import/export compliance
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Monitor KPIs and provide operational reporting to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong background within manufacturing, industrial or chemical environments
- Experience managing international supply chains and logistics operations
- Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting and production planning
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable working across multiple departments, locations and time zones
- Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies
