Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer specialising in high-quality injection moulded plastic products, supplying a diverse range of industries across the UK. Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing a wide range of production machinery and site services. The role will involve everything from reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance through to project work and equipment installations. Working closely with production and engineering teams, you will play a key role in maximising machine reliability and minimising downtime across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively
  • Install and commission new machinery and equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
  • Maintain site electrical systems and associated equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Work collaboratively with production to maximise equipment uptime
  • Complete maintenance documentation and reports accurately

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • An electrically biased multi-skilled engineering background
  • Level 2 and Level 3 Engineering qualifications
  • A completed time-served apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Experience working with three-phase electrical systems and 24V control circuits
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience within manufacturing, plastics, injection moulding or a similar industrial environment would be advantageous
