CV Technical are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing business with a strong international presence. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating operations across the UK and North America, ensuring the smooth movement of goods, efficient supply chain performance, and continued operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary operational link between UK and North American operations
  • Coordinate activities across production, logistics, warehousing, procurement and supply chain functions
  • Support business growth through effective operational planning and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers and key stakeholders
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, freight contracts and commercial arrangements
  • Manage inventory levels and support forecasting and production planning activities
  • Coordinate international shipments and ensure import/export compliance
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor KPIs and provide operational reporting to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong background within manufacturing, industrial or chemical environments
  • Experience managing international supply chains and logistics operations
  • Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting and production planning
  • Commercially aware with strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities
  • Comfortable working across multiple departments, locations and time zones
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of delivering operational efficiencies
