We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer operating within a high-quality, production-focused environment. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, ideally with Mazatrol experience.
The Role- Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines
- Work primarily with Mazatrol conversational programming
- Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Carry out self-inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Produce components to customer drawings and specifications
- Work with minimal supervision once trained
- Provide flexibility to support a secondary site when required
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter-Operator
- Strong background in CNC milling and programming from drawings
- Mazatrol experience preferred
- 5-axis machining experience advantageous
- Confident using CNC tooling and precision measurement equipment
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Flexible and reliable with access to transport
- Salary £33,000 - £34,000 depending on experience
- Overtime available paid at 1.5x
- Day shift only
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
