Field Service Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical (Machine Tools)Location : UK-wide (ideally within 1 hour of Sheffield or Redditch)
Salary : £40,000-£45,000 + Overtime (OTE £50,000+)
Package : Company van, pension, 25 days holiday + stats, door-to-door pay, early Friday finish
We\’re supporting a market leader in the machine tool industry with the recruitment of experienced Field Service Engineers to join their growing team. The Role
Service, maintain, and repair a range of machine tool products across customer sites nationwide
Diagnose faults, replace parts, and ensure machinery is operating efficiently
Undertake planned maintenance and liaise with technical support and customer service teams
Provide clear explanations of faults, repairs, and maintenance to customers
Deliver outstanding service and customer satisfaction on every call-out
Spot opportunities for potential sales and pass leads to the sales team
About You
Apprentice-trained in mechanical or electrical engineering
Minimum 5 years\’ experience as a Service Engineer, ideally in machine tools
Strong manufacturing engineering / CNC background
Ability to read and work from electrical wiring diagrams
Knowledge of CNC control systems and basic mechanical skills essential
Flexible, customer-focused, and happy to travel across the UK
