Salary: £37,500 – £41,000 + On Target Earnings £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford, Midlands and surrounding areas

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the servicing, repair, and modernisation of specialist machinery across the UK and Europe.
You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as breakdown support, on advanced equipment. Occasional travel abroad is required (typically no more than one week away at a time).
Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and rebuild specialist machinery and equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

Work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems

Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG or Stick – desirable)

Support machinery modernisation and upgrade projects

Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Skills & Experience

Time-served Engineer / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred

Strong mechanical or electrical background

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

Electrical fault-finding skills

Welding/fabrication experience (advantageous)

Ability to work at heights (training provided if required)

Full UK driving licence
What\’s on Offer
