The role will suit a mechanically biased engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing background who is confident working on breakdowns, PPMs and continuous improvement projects across production machinery and site equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reactive and planned mechanical maintenance across site machinery.
  • Fault finding on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings and pneumatic systems.
  • Carrying out PPM work to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
  • Supporting production during breakdown situations to ensure targets are met.
  • Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams.
  • Assisting with machinery improvements and engineering projects.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical fault finding and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Open to working in Panama shifts, days and nights.
