Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime/Shift Allowance at 1.25x
Day shift
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
The successful candidate will ideally be dual-skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance and have experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, plastics, aerospace, automotive, precision engineering or similar environment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Fault finding and replacement of PLCs, motors and inverters.
- Working on both single and three-phase electrical systems.
- Electrical maintenance including lighting, wiring, testing and alarm systems
- Maintaining and repairing conveyors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems and production machinery
- Fabricating and producing replacement repair parts where required.
You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- A relevant electrical qualification such as City & Guilds, 18th Edition or NVQ Level 3+.
- Experience working with single and three-phase electrical systems.
- Experience within a foundry environment would be advantageous.
