We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Mechanic to join an established team, working across customer sites throughout Devon.
The Role
- You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of heavy plant, rollers and vehicles at customer locations.
- Duties will include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant machinery, rollers and vehicles.
- Attending customer sites across Devon to diagnose and repair faults.
- Fault finding and repair of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Diagnosing mechanical and engine-related faults.
- Servicing and maintaining heavy plant machinery.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Participating in a 1 week in 4 on-call rota.
About You
- Proven experience as a Plant Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Mechanic or similar.
- A relevant mechanical qualification or be time-served.
- Good knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.
- A solid understanding of engines and mechanical systems.
- A full, valid driving licence.
