Job Description Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)\n \n Location: North Yorkshire Salary: Up to Β£56,000 + Excellent Benefits Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation (Monday-Friday) \n \nThe Company\n \n A leading manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation and sustainability is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its well-established engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern production environment where engineering plays a key role in driving reliability and continuous improvement. \n \nThe Role\n \n As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and site services, ensuring maximum uptime and equipment reliability. \n Key responsibilities include: \n \n Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs. \n Diagnosing and fault finding on electrical control systems and production equipment. \n Working with PLC-controlled machinery and electrical automation systems. \n Supporting continuous improvement projects to improve plant performance. \n Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures. \n Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime. \n\n \nThe Candidate\n \n The successful candidate is likely to have: \n \n A recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent). \n Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, recycling or heavy industrial environment. \n Strong electrical fault-finding skills with experience on motors, drives, sensors, inverters and control systems. \n Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar would be advantageous). \n A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement. \n The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. \n\n \nWhat's on Offer\n \n \n Monday to Friday 3-shift rotation \n Competitive Salary \n Company pension \n Generous holiday allowance \n Ongoing training and development \n Stable, long-term career with a successful manufacturing business \n Opportunities for progression within a growing engineering team \n\n If you're an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge with a well-established manufacturer offering excellent earning potential and career development, we'd love to hear from you. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
