We're partnering with an established manufacturer in the Alfreton area to find an experienced Multi Skilled Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the site's maintenance function - keeping production equipment running efficiently through a mix of planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown response on production machinery and electrical systems
- Fault-finding and diagnosing electrical issues across LV systems, PLCs, drives, and control panels
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment and process improvements
- Working collaboratively with mechanical maintenance colleagues on multi-discipline tasks
- Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and contributing to site improvement projects
- Recognised electrical qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or apprenticeship-trained
- Solid maintenance experience within a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, motor drives (inverters/VFDs), and control panels
- PLC fault-finding experience - Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Multi-skilled engineers with mechanical awareness are particularly welcome
