We are working with an established engineering business who are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their design team.
This is a varied role covering design, site work and project delivery, with the successful candidate working closely with customers, manufacturing and senior management. There is also a genuine opportunity to progress into a leadership position as the business continues to grow.
The Role:
- Producing detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD
- Carrying out site visits, surveys and measurements
- Working directly with customers to develop practical engineering solutions
- Liaising with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure designs are achievable
- Producing RAMS and supporting projects through to installation
- Helping improve design processes and systems across the business
The Person:
- Strong AutoCAD experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of fabrication and sheet metal work
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable dealing directly xiskglj with customers and site teams
- A hands-on approach with the ambition to progress into a leadership role
